Sean was our wedding DJ and he did an awesome job! Sean was very professional throughout the planning process but also offered a calming influence which was reassuring. On the day Sean completed DJ and MC duties from the ceremony right through to the last dance with perfection.

Hal was my DJ for the night of my 30th birthday on board the Zephyr Charters. Sean and Hal were great to communicate with prior to the event and the process of organising was extremely smooth, easy and professional. I provided Hal with a playlist, however asked if he could also mix in some of his own music. The music on the night was all I could’ve asked for – a solid mixture of genres but mixed in seamlessly, which made the night so much fun! Everyone commented on how fun the dance floor was and how great Hal’s music was. Would definitely recommend Your Local DJ and Hal for any event!

Sean was absolutely superb!!! He was the DJ for our daughter’s 16th. He came early to set up, very professional throughout. Managed to get shy kids on the floor, even giving them turns to DJ themselves!! He played music from my daughter’s playlist and his own mix, reading the crowd exactly. Everyone had a fantastic time.

From our very first contact with Sean we had a great experience. He was really informative and also pretty laid back in his approach. We booked him for a house warming and he visited in the weeks before the party, from a first meeting to discuss what we wanted and look at the house and show us some of his equipment, then the night before to setup all his equipment, lights and smoke machine play lists across multiple rooms to ensure a drama free night. The level of service was well beyond what was expected. We ended up with 3 different rooms of music from hard house, to rock and general easy going tunes. Sean really got our party pumping and was great to work with. I would thoughoughly recommend Sean for any event that you require DJ music, he has such a variety of music and can play whatever you want and will go out of his way to support your vision. Sean was fantastic for my son’s 18th birthday. He played all the right songs the kids wanted to hear, knew how to get them all up dancing & played all the songs we’d requested in advance. So friendly & accomodating. A lovely guy who knows how to get a party going!!
